"This may give you a rough idea of how temps and the actual reading will vary. You should have gotten a correction guide with your meter. What ever your meter temperature and Proof are one in the same then you will get a higher proof reading for temps over that calibration temp. and visa versa. If your actual temperature is less than the calibration temp then you will have a higher proof than the indicated proof on the alchol meter. So if your meter is calibrated at 60 F you are measuring at 45 F. So 15 x .2=3 and 3 + your measured 90 proof would put you at 93 proof.


This alcoholmeter gives a very accurate reading. Read the alcohol percentage and check the temperature of the liquid. For every 1°C over 20°C, decrease the alcohol content by 0.2%. For every 1°C under 20°C, increase the alcohol content by 0.2%.

Note: This calculation only works for this alcohol meter. Because alcohol meters have different lengths, weight and widths, there are individual correction tables for each of them."
