1500 watt hot plate
Gold fermentation kit
Wireless thermometer
Carbon for filtration? Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Intend to run sugar wash for introduction and testing purposes. Thanks y'all."

Only thing I could add would perhaps another fermenter complete, a solid rubber plug fot the top that you could drill a smaller hole for the dipole thermo. and more yeast ot keep you busy for a while. You will have enjoument as it is. Have fun."

If your 1500 watt hot plate is like mine you will have to tinker with it some to keep it running full time on the highest setting. You can wire the the plate direct to run wide open all the time or you can bend a tab on the thermostat so it will stay on hot but you can still turn it down. The only glitch with bending the tab is that it won't turn off by the thermostat and you have to unplug it. Other than that it will get your wash up to temp in about 90-95 minutes. If its cycleing on the highest setting it may take 2 1/2 hrs to get up to temp."
