Steve Gin is a tough one. I have read there are several ways of makeing it. One is with a cloth bag with the herbs in it, suspended over clean neutral in the boiler. Another and better is a special column with a gin head at the top,or right after th takeoff from the colum. Then some recipes where you just macerate the herbs in good alchohol. Many of the recipies had 20 or more herbs used. I don't use much gin, so I just keep a stock of the different types of essences form brewhaus on hand. If you use them with your really clean neutral, they will produce actually better gin than you can buy. My opinion. And no gin hangover. If you are dedicated to makeing some, holler and I will try to dig some of them up."

Thanks. I have some of the Brewhaus gin essence, so I'll give that a try. Hope it comes out like you say!
