Can someone explain in laymans terms at what point you use baking soda? Post-run? Not sure how to go about using it....Confused Trying to make a totally odor-free vodka.

Just add it to your low wines (the first disilled spirits). I cut to 40% ABV then add a heaping TBS/ gal. When you go to do your spirit run, you can make your cuts much more discernable and clean by adding a few TBS. of canning salt- non iodized.

Dissolve the BS in the cutting water first."
