"I just received my HCPSII today and can't wait to try it out. Looking forward to the faster distilling times as compared to my old PSII.
Hey Scotty, what kind of insulation is that, that you are using? Looks like it works a lot better than what I have. Does that have a adhesive backing?

I also tripple insulated the column. I added a 1 foot extension to the bottom of my 2 inch tower. i drilled through it amd installed a ss bolt at the bottom of it. i use this portion for the copper mesh. i use raschig rings to fill the uopper portion because it is partially blocked at both top with the cooling tubes and bottom with some bar that you bolt a screen thing to.

Too bad brewhaus doesnt sell themOhMyGod. i really dont like sending $$$ to another vendorBigGrin

Here is the tower insulated but before i added the 1 foot extension to the bottom of it

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for. Are you referring to a column extension? If so, we have built those for people a number of times- it is just not a standard item that we sell.

Well, as you know, we are always happy to custom build- and it is not like we do not have all of the parts in stock and available. :)
