"I have the triclover fitting and the 1 inch coupling for the electric element.
. A gift card for christmas has gotten me the silver solder and flux.
I have had a turbo aceyteline torch for years.

Now i would like to use a food grade silicone to make the seal.
I'm thinkoig of laying a bead around the cover of the pot and then placing wax paper on the side of the bead that i dont want to stick to the pot itself.

Any one know of a food grade silicone source???"

I found a universal pressure cooker gasket that i will mount to the S.S. pot. Ive gone up tp a 4.5 gallon pot. Ill buy aquarium safe silicone from a hobby place tomorrow. If the gasket mounts properly, then ill attempt to silver solder the triclover connector and the 1 inch NPT union for the electric heat element.
