"Dilute to 40% or so.
I prefer the cleaner mouth feel of twice run likker. Single run (to me) is largely a bit more of an earthier mouth feel. Although I do enjoy stealing a center jar from a slower single run.
Can use 25% (or so) of yer spent beer to add back to your forthcoming ferment.
That'd be a first gen. sour mash.
As your generations progress you may need to check your PH"

"(my)Single runs are not as crisp and clean to me.. I am not patient enough to age my spirits for long periods of time. I'm lucky to get 3 -4 months worth of aging. I also prefer to dilute a fairly proofy distillate with my mixer.
My still is designed to get the fullest amount of flavor from a very proofy amount of abv.
My level of exposure is restricted to the rums BTW"
