"My first AG mash...I think it came out ok, bubbled for 5 days, smells very much like alcohol, letting it clear now...maybe run mon. tue. whenever it clears completely,.....very interesting.....
I used nchooches recipie from homedistiller.org just replaced corn w/ flaked maze.
I have a question though, Is there supposed to be a greasy sheen floating on top? I noticed the greasy stuff the morning after I mashed it, I.m guessing it is corn oil, like crisco....?"

I had planned on siphoning under the grease and over the lees.....I guess
