"Got a sweet feed ferment thats finiished, first one, usually just do plain sugar washes............straining isent much fun, read on homedistiller the following,
'An excellent way to remove the grains after fermentation is to have used a ""grain bag"" - eg a large bag made of mesh or muslin to hold the grains. You then simply lift this out of the mash when they're all spent, and its easy to rinse them. Far easier than using strainers, seives etc'
So anyone usin these, not sure where to buy em?
Thanks"

Also wondering if straining with a pillow case, if you just put your grains in the pillow case and submerge in the ferment bucket like it suggests for the grain bag?

I've always used a paint strainer, you can get them at any hardward store and they usually come two to a package.
