Getting overly anxious to get started I forgot to add sugar to molasses & yeast mix is it too late? Can I make a simple syrup & add now before stilling or do I have to start over?

You can add after the fact. If you invert your sugar, just make sure it has the same temp as your wash,,,,,,,,
