Getting overly anxious to get started I forgot to add sugar to molasses & yeast mix is it too late? Can I make a simple syrup & add now before stilling or do I have to start over?

Well the sugar will have to be eaten by the yeast to make alcohol so if its not done fermenting and you have room in your fermenter for the extra volume--melt some sugar with hot water and add that to the fermenter but make sure its cooled before adding. How long has it been going???? There might still be some activity in there and thats what you need for aldohol production. Or you could make a sugar solution and then add more yeast.
