is it ok to start distilling when your mash has turn to a light lemonade color....thanks scott from dallas

Scott - On the first few batches I made, I worried about the fact my mash wasn't crystal clear, I even bought the clarifying stuff to help settle the yeast, Later I just let the stuff sit for a week after it yeast quits working. It's slightly yellow in color but distills just fine.

Hey Scott, a light yellowish color is pretty normal when you ferment almost anything except maybe rum. Don't worry about it, it will be fine.
Enjoy th fruits of yer labor mate, after all you worked fer it 'n ya deserve em!
