"I think I screwed up again! I tried the Prestige Professional Vodka Yeast with AG in just a sugar wash (14%) and it has taken what seems to be far too long.
The product info states, ""Due to the small nutrient / mineral mix included with this yeast, it can also be used for extra clean fermentation of mid-gravity sugar mashes to 14.5% in approximately 7 days.""
After 18 days I was still getting bubbles from the airlock about every 20 seconds. It has been at a fairly consistent 68°F (65 - 71).
I went ahead and siphoned the wash, degassed, added boiled Sparkaloid, set it out overnight (42°F night, 68 shade today) and 16 hours later it still far from clear. Any ideas?"
