I had never heard of Turbo Sugar til this post, I checked it out & i figure its just a another brew shop scam to get ur money. As for Organic sugar its usually brown lookin cuz its still got the molasses in it. I use plain old refined sugar, I ferment with plain old bakers yeast in washes
10% ABV. I figure you aught to save ya money and use plain old sugar if u gonna use it."

I have never used that particular brand of Turbo Yeast. Just follow the instructions on the pack, they usually give specific instructions.

If you are lookin to make some good pure alcohol you really need to steer clear of them Turbos. They produce lots of off taste in the wash and Alcohol."

He may be referring to ""turbinado"" sugar' which is a type of brown sugar and named after the turbines that spin cane juice during the making process.
Actually there shouldn't be any difference except cost"
