"I basically use a method from the parent site for the wash.

I like to go all out for my starter bottles though. I run mine for 24 hours before pitching. Some books even say 48 hours with the stirring device. The yeast multiplication factor is suposed to be worth the extra effort.

The paper towels are there because i forgot to see if the stirrer was off before i plugged it in. It's still sticky all over the place.

The wash is 15.5% PA I suspect it will rise a bit from pitching this starter which i made from DME and prepared wort.
