"I have searched the web many times. Here is what i want to do 1-never spend the 800 dollars for a blichman brew stand. 2- use my porch table, the floor and a 30/32 inch high table to emulate the stand 3- the fermaenting bucket goes on the floor. The brew pot goes on the table. 4- The hot liquor tank goes on the 30/32 inch high table which sits on the regular table. 5- i need a 30 to 32 inch high table because the hieght will be correct for sparging. A light folding table would be great- the sparge pot will be a max of 5 gallons I could use some ideas any question here????? "

Is the hot liquor tank the only one to have a burner under it? Or does more than one of the tanks have a burner under it? If the top tank does have a burner under it, your 30/32" table will need to be fireproof, or at least put cement board or tiles underneath the burner(s). What would a contructed box with cross-bracing and clamping points (so you could clamp to the regular table) do for you? Are you able to contruct something like that? Does this top table need to break down and fold up? Or could it become a piece of furniture on the deck when not in use? Muadib

If i had used the blichman stand it would be the one with shelves and not gas burners. I choose the electricity because i can automatically regulate the heat Thanks for the input. :)"

"PROBLEM SOLVED--PHOTO TO FOLLOW
I have a shorter table 4' long by 29 "" high. the main table is 6' long. i place the shorter tabl on the longer table. i willonly be missing 1 inch in hieght si it should work well. now all i have to do is add the heat element and spiggot to the hot liquor tank."

I do have pumps but only to empty my still. The fermenter on the floor is only to fill it from the boiling pot. I would then move the fermenter indoors to the kitchen countertop. Living in warm climate does not allow me to leave the most important part of the process out of air conditioned space. I actually prefer to ferment in winter time so i can keep the liquid temp below 70 degrees. I like to run a cool ferment if possible. (((I even have a stainless steel wort chiller that i wanted to leave in the fermenter to keep the liquid temp down. I wanted to do that with a pid operated valve and tap water.))) Lots of things didnt get done these past 2 years. [SIZE=""3""]BTW thanks for the comments[/SIZE]. The input always gets me t try new ideas or reconsider what i think is iron clad method "

" The insulated boiler pot is sitting on top of the modified 1500 watt hot plate. The Hot liquor tank will sit on top of the smaller table and be 6 gallons with an internal heat element, a 1/2 inch gate valve, a water level indicator and a thermometer. Hopefully i can set up some sort of thermostat mounted on the pot."

"How does the gulf coast of florida sound. I don't know where pongo pongo is either. I wanted to spend som money with brewhaus but they dont stock the items, Seems that brew pots, no weld valve kits go with brewing. I wanted a larger fermenter and i had to deal with KRAUSE. Not my favorite seller for sure."

"Just to change the subject for a laugh. I wasnt thinking of what i must do to make beer. I need to boil before i put the liquid to ferment. So now ill put the propane burner on the floor for the boil then pump that liquid into a fermenter bucket. I have 3 6 gallon buckets with screw on lids. These will be good for fermenting 5 gallon batches of anything. Right now i have them filled with malted barley for the irish whiskey that i have been putting off for months"

I tested the barrels with water first. I agree that nothing goes to the angels- They are decorations now.
