I cooked a corn meal wash today and now that i've cleaned everything up I noticed that there are some burnt corn meal stuck to the bottom on the pan. Whats the best way to clean this. Keep in mind it's a PS II 8 gallon pan with a 2" hole on top.

whenever i do cheese, i end up with burned scorch marks on the bottom of my pot. We soak it in detergent and use brillo. Yuck, lots of work.

Fill it with water and Dawn up the level of the scorched spot..put a fire in the hole and let it chuckle away for a bit. Should come right on out. Maybe a bristle brush or plastic scouring pad if its real stubborn.
