"Well the swimming pool fixer finally got the pump working yesterday so decided it be time to run a 12 gallon SF and Rye flake wash which was birthed slightly over a month ago seems like. Had cleared up nice..not sweet etc.

This be the maiden run for the 120 v 2000 w internal elements. They brought it up to temps in about 50 mins at which time the one on the 15 amp circuit was unplugged and the other on the 20 amp circuit was allowed to continueth. Also began giving some water to the column. Was gonna wait on the condenser but the distillate had steam coming off of it so I chickened out and give it some water too.

Production started in the high 150s and come out gushing. Temps bounced around 10 degrees either side of 150 for about 15 mins. and just I was starting to think unkindly of erratic heat production in water heater elemements..it settled and locked down at 167 and started rational production.

Have pulled off over a gallon so far and suspect it be plenty strong..er I mean pure lol. It still dripping and now holding at 168. Suspect it be headed to tails shortly. Think these elements will work. Thanks for all who nursed me through the project."
