"We are in midst of coating our open porch with wood preserver. As a result we have removed everything from it to make the wark a bit easier.
My hobby room ha so much stuff in it tha i cant get into it.
Tables-- large stainless pots. Outdoor bamboo blinds. In adition to what had already left the room with just passing space.

SOOOO i needed to get something going. The easiest thing is a sort of wine made from artificial flavor crystals.

THE RECIPE
1 package of red rasoberry crystals that should be added to 2 gallons of water
3 gallons of water- to reduce the sweetness if it contaned artificial non fermentable sweetners.
One can always back sweeten
1 pkg of lalvin 1118
5 pounds of sugar to bring the PA to 14%
Double nutrient an energizer. Second batch added after 3 days

Tannin, glycerine to be added after fermentation.
Acid adjustment after fermentation
1 pkg 2 part clearing chemicals.
sorbate annd sulfite to be added after clarification

Standard wine proceedure including aerating before pitching . stirring a couple of times a day before adding secon batch of nutrients and energizers.
Transferring to under lock after 4-5 days in first fermenter

Did i forget something."

Hi Scotty,
You'll have to let us know how it turns out. I was wondering if instead of the red raspberry crystals something like a raspberry essence could be used. I've never been a fan of artificial flavorings and will generally go out of my way to avoid artificial sweeteners. I find they have an off aftertaste.

Todd using real extracts is an art. I have ruined a couple of batches of something or other by adding too much. This whatsis is really an experiment to see how adding tannin, glycerine and some vanilla in adition to adjusting acid will produce something other than a YUCKK lol lol
Its close to I think in a week ill be able to clarify it and asdjust it. Quien sabe????"
