Is there an optimum water temp. for your worm while cooking a batch? Or a formula to determine it?

Just a guess but we use many diferent ways to condense. sOME FOLKS USE FROZEN WATER IN OLD MILK GALLONS, OTHERS THE SWIMMING POOL(((oops caps sorry)) I use ground water from our water supply.
I think that cool water is best but i know a couple of folks that are re using the water with a radiator of some sort. This tells me that most ambient air temperatures are sufficient such as in an air cooled coil.
I believe this is a question worth hashing ove a bit. I am in process of making a car radiator setup and hope it works

Ill bet that there are a dozen diferent ways that work.

Sorry for not knowing an exact answer.

I like the enclosed loop idea. Shouldn't require much of a pump for good circulation. This subject should get the natives restless.

Brewhaus has a pump fo $10---i see the same pomp fo $40 ti $125. i purchased the one from brewhaus. i tested it once an the volume is more than adequite. Someone else already made a valving system to dire ct the flow. We were talking aboutseparate supplys for the liebig and the column tubes. he does it easily with one ball valve-- i choose 2 but only to experiment with-- not better just a diferent way

Is the Brewhaus pump able to pump water upward to a 7 foot height? For my clean out and first 'real' batches, I used water from the facet. I kinda hate letting the water run for 4 to 6 hours even if it's slow. My set up -- I have a coil inside a 3" tube. the water supply runs up beside the column, into the coil then back out down along side the column. Total height is about 7 foot. If it helps, my set up is the same design from Moonshine-Still.com. I would like to use a water pump with a tub of water to circulate the water through the coil. The facet water does a real good job of condensing the vapors so far.

Would venture to say most likely yes. If it dont it wouldnt work on the BH gizmos either. Mine prob at least 6' from top to bottom and its sitting on the floor. Gonna have to pump all the way to the top of that one too.
