Went out and bought me a 50lb bag of sweet feed today. Got the bucheit brand for 12.99 or something.. seemed a bit high but all there is around here unless I waited for midland to open see what they had but didn't wanna wait. Doubt it was much cheaper if any anyway. I got the all grain corn oats and barley with molasses. Can't wait to get this batch started and ready to run. I'm getting very tired of dealing with CM after the fermentation.

I think it will gonna cook me up a batch later on. Price really isn't bad for as much as you get just though for some reason it was under $10.

Hi. I am going to try a sweet feed recipe. I went to the feed store, asked for sweet feed and they gave me a bag of Blue Seal. It says Course 14 on the tag. Does anyone know if this is ok to use? I don't care about the money I just don't want to waste my time.

From my research and help from here big wheel hit it. All grain feed with molasses it's usually the cheap stuff. Nothing with preservatives either.

Up here in the land of Ice and Snow, deer corn (not SF) goes for $18 per 50pounds. I thought that wasn't too bad. Sugar on the other hand is about $13 for 20 pounds.
