use a piece of 2' white ,water grade, pvc, cap the bottom and drill several .020 or so holes in it, put a 2x4 bell on the top and then 8-1`0' of 4' pvc, enough to hold your batch anyway. Presto, you have a filter, fill it with stone carbon and its cost you about $4 plus the carbon....
