My wife purchased me a ""easystill"" as a Christmas gift...How may wifes will do that???

I have made a lot of wine over the years but never any kind of spirits.

I have one question already...How do you use the filter ""kit""? It came with one pvc tube, one rubber tube, one hose clamp, one piece of filter paper and a bag of charcoal...no instruction on how to use it. Is it a simple pour through device at the end of a run?...which I doubt due to the rubber tube. Instructions would be most helpful.
