"HI, All.
My son-in-law and I have decided to jump into this unique hobby/endeavor. We have been reading here and other places, seemed like a friendly group so i registered. We are starting from scratch. I have a few bits of equipment from wine making, (35 yrs ago) I sent off an order to Brewhaus yesterday for the PSII HC with the upgraded 8 gal. Kettle. I hope this will be a good starter unit. We went to the local brew shop today, bought a pair 30L fermentation vessels, and associated stuff. Anyway, Just wanted to say hi, now back to reading & waiting for shinny stuff...

Hello all,
Also from Washington state. I am the Son-in-law. Very excited to get started on this. Lots to learn, there is a lot more to this than I initially thought. Thanks to everyone for the all the post on this site. Very informative

"Gentlemen, Welcome to the forum. The Vapor Family's wine making experience should come in handy!  V2, there is indeed more to this than the typical person would expect. I think that's what makes it so interesting. Something I continue to deal with is: I don't know what I don't know. That's where all the reading comes in -- it helps me discover all of the things that I know absolutely nothing about !
