I use this RSC http://www.amazon.com/ML...amp+router+speed+control and you can get heater elements from Lowes or HD

Hi Dab745,
Are you asking about the heating element or the control box?

You didn't mention if you want to use 120v or 240v, the rsc that dieselduo is using can only work on 120v and the heat up time is much longer.

Did you see my thread on " MY altarnative to a router speed control " up by the top of this tech section that tells you how to build a controller box that you can use on 240v ? Also did you already order your 15gal. kettle and if you did or when you do you should have them install the fitting for the element.
