Hi everybody, just wondering if there is a good cleaning solution for cleaning brand new stills. Or if a water or cleaning run should be performed prior to any distilling runs. Thanks

Hi countryboy, I've found fore shots and heads to be a great cleaning solution. That said, I run a 50/50 2 gallon solution of cheap vinegar and water through my still to give it a good cleaning.

Awesome. Thanks. I haven't run my still yet so I don't have any heads yet but hopefully I will soon (: I've heard the vinegar water works but I wanted to hear it from somebody that actually has used it. Thanks
