Hello Coaldust, I am in an apartment, so I went with the hot plate. I really had not read too much about the internal heaters before I ordered, so I am pretty basic. Could you post some pictures of your kettle when you get it all set up and ready to go? I am curious how the internal heaters work and look.

Thanks,
Blaztaz

"coaldust, if you use the search box up top you'll find lots of discussions on the very subject you inquired about.

Try -- router speed controllers or electric elements in a keg or heating elements all of those will lead you to more and more....

And try the technical support section.."
