"I've tried going through each forum and searching with specific keywords, but I can't find the answer to my question.
I have the Essential Extractor II, and I have two kegs. I have the full size keg (15 gallons or so), and I also have one of the smaller kegs (5.5-6 gallons).
Is it safe to use the small keg in conjunction with the Ess. Ex. II?"

The size of the boiler is not a concern. In my opinion I would set up the larger one. You can run smaller batches in it but there is no room for more in the 5 gallon boiler.

"You ask is it safe......in what aspect of safety are you refering to? The quanity of wash on the boil??
I concure with Scotty the boiler size is of no consequence in that respect but which ever one you use be safe."

On a small run that may have less than 5 gallons of liquid, that's my main question.
I have two propane burners, one is a piece of garbage so I thought my small keg might fit on my other burner....nope, too big. As much as I dont' want to, I guess I need to buy a new propane burner setup.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate.
