"I am a casual ""personal use"" brewer, if you will. Thanks for greeting me.

I am keeping a low profile, profile because of more distilling than brewing, as I'm sure some of you are too. I am on my 4th batch, and working on a Generation 4 sour mash. Built my own rig from a 15.5 gal keg, electric (triac) controller, 2-1/4"" column, shotgun condenser.

I am a member of another forum and I like to cross compare information to get a larger or more accurate idea of what I am needing to do, or verifying that what I am doing is correct, so I look to all of you veteran 'brewers' for your wealth of knowledge and I hope I can also contribute something to the mix.

Thx again,
McShiner"

Howdy, what other forums are you on, I too like to shop around and gather knowledge. If you havent been to Homedistillers.com (this is a stillin site) give them a look that site is FULL of usefull info for folks doing what we are doing. I also frequent Homebrewtalk.com (this is a beer brewing site) these are my 2 fav's next to this one of course. Happy hoochin..

"Yup, been somewhat a regular on the HD.org for just over a year. LOT'SA reading. So much so, I think I sometimes end up missing some of what I'm looking for.

Hurricane Alley?? Grew up, summers in Ft Laud, Dania, Hollywood. Still have some family in Orlando and Daytona Bch area. Missing those days of cut-off jeans shorts, bare-back and bare-footed. Spent summer vacation either in the pool or on the beach. Ah, the good-ol' days...

Looking forward to reading some more here in this 'burg. (forum)

McS."
