This will probably be either a pretty dumb question, or a good question; what would you guys say the minimum temperature my water should be in order for it to effectively perform its condensing function? I run a PSII, and originally, I was using a 2.5 gallon stock pot with a gallon of water, being continually topped off with crushed ice throughout my run. As of late, I've been using a big cooler filled 1/4 of the way with water, and as many frozen gallon jugs of water as I can fit in. With this method, the water stays cooler longer on account of the ice having less surface area than a bunch of crushed ice, but by the end of the run, I can still tell that the temp has risen dramatically, maybe into high 40s/low 50s.
