i run mine through 2 to 3 cotton wool balls and a very fine cloth that i got from spot light.. i have a funnel with a inline filter for water, thats where i put the cotton wool. my stuff comes out pure as, no nothing... i used to find coffee paper only works for about 500ml them starts to break down. i'll upload a picture of setup, taken on mobile phone,UserPostedImage

Scoot - I had the same happening on some of my runs and it seemed to be getting worse. When I did get them I they seemed to form over a few week period, I re-thought my carbon clean up process as that was the only part that was consistent to the runs. I started multiple rinsing with distilled water after cooking the carbon at 500 F for a couple of hours. After that I no longer had the particles. Hope this helps.
