i have been reading a lot about packing on this forum and others....i started with rachet rings, then went to ss mesh and then copper mesh, all seemed a pain to clean and really not getting the pure results in my spirit i was looking for...for the last 3 months, i have been using clear glass marbles i purchased at a hobby store....i have gotten the purest and best tasting product i have ever distilled and they are very easy to clean. when packing my column , i just pour them in the top until filled...just thought i would pass on this info and see if anyone else has ever tried this method...thanks, scott
ps...aj, your a man of many words....have you tried this method
