"I CAN NO LONGER SHOP AT CABELA'S Gun Control. It has already started at Cabela's Sporting Goods Store. There was a bit of confusion at the Cabela"s Sporting Goods store this morning. When I was ready to pay for my purchases of gun powder and bullets... The cashier said, ""Strip down, facing me."" Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the Liberal gun control whackos running amok,I did just as she had instructed. When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to how I should place my Debit card in the card-reader."

Don't know. Heat up was fine. Unplugged top element and changed to variable on the RSC. A 26 amp Rockler. Right after I I collected fores temp plummeted and I smelled burning wires in the RSC. it only worked on full after that which is obviously no good.

I got them from Amazon. 2000 watt, 120 volt, Reliance universal elements, RSC is Rockler 26 amp, As I am looking at it it says "26 amp 110 volt speed controller", I know nothing about amps vs volts etc. I just got a new controller today so I hope it lasts longer, At least till I can have one built.

your element only pulled a max of 16.6 amps at 120 volts-- it should have been loafing for your application-- the rsc was obviously defective unless you shorted it out.

Thanks Scotty. That's what I figured. That is why I hate to buy things on-line. Let's see how the new one works
