there are some electric stoves that have thermostats that do not cycle. but if it cycles at a higher setting then I believe it will always cycle. There are always exceptions ;but a pot of water with a thermometer in it should tell the story

finally hit my temp number on the button and the abv went to 85 %
170 record run
