A friend gave me all of his leftover beermaking stuff, and I was wondering if anyone here might give me a little direction as to what I can make with this. My history with beermaking is limited to one batch of Oktoberfest a couple years ago, but that was from a kit. I'd like to use this stuff up, even if I had to buy a couple more ingredients, instead of tossing it out, but I really don't know much about brewing from recipes and what's needed to make a decent batch. Here's what I have: 29 oz. Chocolate Malt 27 oz. Crystal 80-L Milled Breiss 12 1/4 oz. Pilsner Light Malt 18 3/4 oz. Laaglander dried malt extract 33 1/2 oz. dried dark malt extract 3/4 oz. Liberty Alpha hops 2 3/4 oz. Northern Brewer Hops 10 5/8 oz. Corn Sugar Any suggestions?

It looks like you have the fixin's for a good Porter of even a stout. What kind of brewing equipment do you have? If you can do an all grain you would need some two row, however you have plenty of DME to do a partial grain mash.
