Before we start jumpin' up an down and tossing babies in the air...

The real world has a few reqs...

http://www.tree.com/food...become-a-brewmaster.aspx

I was reviewing the requirements a while back when I was having one of those days where I hated my lifelong career, and thinking, oh, easy, I'll do this!

well damn it man this is what would get me lol

Solid organizational and planning skills: Brewmasters must have the ability to organize and plan ahead in order to manage and oversee the brewery and the brewing process.
Strong interpersonal skills: Brewmasters generally manage a large staff, ranging from six to 50 brewers, as well as other employees. It is important to be able to effectively communicate with the staff to make sure the brewery runs smoothly.

lol pay days are always the hardest days to swallow when the kitty is light lol

i think i got a ways to go yet i think i am just shy of 60 gallons of mash run lol might be more now that i think of it who keeps track lmao
hell thats not even one batch for some of you guys lol

Well, sadly, I do have honed skills in those areas.. Partially from my 38+ years in trade, forever making large projects and assembling players from the corporate teams to make a plan into reality... Which in turn requires strong interpersonal skills, or, you develop them getting all the brothers and sisters to play nicely together UserPostedImage despite technical complexities and the corp. bureaucracy (read: bull**it), not to mention observing industry best practices and an abomination called "ITIL standards"... Geverns you along the entire path from theory to; acquisition of hardware/software, install, configurations, and deployment...every inch regulated....

And, after it all, you realize no plan survives first contact w/reality... UserPostedImage

I prefer backwooded, redneck, self reliance to that that crap any day... UserPostedImage

Spirits would be an master distiller as googe says.. Once ya start diggin' into all the damn requirements for it, you find out why it's a quarter of a million to get yourself established, not to mention having to get educated and proving it (master's certification)...

Enjoy the fact you can make things others can't BigGrin
