Heya Dona

Not enough detail to make an informed answer, I am afraid... First of all, it doesn't look like there was enough sugar by several pounds.. But, other questions prevail - I'll presume every thing used (containerwise) was sanitized/sterile to begin with.
• Was the cracked corn/barley pre-processed in any way?

    • corn cooked at the correct temprature for at least an hour
    • barley cooked w/the corn for 30-60m at 148f?

  • At what temp did you pitch yer yeast?
  • Did your fermenter have an airlock or open?
  • What was the SG at the beginning of the ferment?

    • If it was 1.000 - that was a sign to add more sugar.

  • How long did this ferment?
  • Temp of the area it fermented in?
  • Is 1.000 your final gravity?
I don't know if you followed a tried-n-true recipe - I have done a corn/barley Sweet Feed one which is really close to the ingredients you listed with the exception of mollasses, but I used 7lbs of sugar for a 5 gallon wash. Every wash is different thou, and if the SG is low one generally adds more sugar.

    Cheers

    Edit:

Hi Dona. You didn't say what your original specific gravity was but if your specific gravity stays 1.000 for a couple days. Run It. With your listed ingredients it may have been a little low to start but it is what it is.
