I wonder if any of the readers on Brewhaus' forum have ever
looked at an 'EasyStill' and can tell me what the diameter of the condenser
tube is, and about how long would it be BEFORE it was made into a coil? I
downloaded a couple of shots of a water distiller and got an idea for making
a big one out of my 'Corny Keg.' They use 500-600Watt heater elements with
the stock water distiller, and Brewhaus and others replace that with a
325Watt heater. Now, apparantly this works pretty well in the one gallon
units they sell at Sears, etc. but, in a 5-gallon wash I wonder if it would
work at all? I'm thinking about running a 1500Watt water heating
element at 120V to get the 375Watts I thought I would need, but now I'm
beginning to wonder! any advice, suggestions, or ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I made my own, if I had it to do over again I would just buy one from Brewhaus and spend the construction time actually using the darn thing... Just my .02's worth.
