"I have had the product for about a year now and so far things have worked well on first run wash. i am now trying to run the second distillation on some product. I filled unit to about 3 liters of 20% and after about 20 minute of production the top started to rattle and pop up and down so I unplugged it.
I then went back and diluted down to about 16% same thing
diluted to about 12% same thing.
Any ideas on why there seems to be so much pressure building up?
why to does it only happen on 2nd time through?
And as a almost newbie I am totally stumped."

This is most likely the result of foaming, which is not at all uncommon on second distillation. Adding an anti-foam agent should resolve it.
