"Is it necessary to clean a new PSII the same way one would clean a copper still? On a copper still, I would clean with soap and water, then run a vinegar water salt mix through it, then run a wash through it and discard the output. Since the PSII is stainless, what is the proper cleaning procedure? Thank you for any information you can provide. PS - It sure hurt to throw out the first batch, but it had to be done. "

It is not necessary to run a batch through the PSII for cleaning purposes, as everything is TIG welded so no flux is used.

Great! Thanks. I'll do a general soap and water cleaning and go from there.
