I have not used the Essential extractor PS but do own a Venom Stomper had exellent results with it no complaints.
The last run got 130 proof with a wisky wash this still comes with a thumper so one run is all that is needed.
The link for it is http://denimpeddler.com it takes one mounth to recive so if you want faster service you will have to look elswere but for the money well worth the wait.
Cheers

The jar is called the thumper it is what is nessasry for gettining your abv% above 40%.
With out it that is what you get you want higher abv% you whould need to distill agian.
With the jar you add aboutt 200ml of your distillent out put inside the jar and it acts as a second distill operation incresing your abv% without distilling a second time.

Actually, even a pot distiller is quite capable of exceeding 40% abv. In fact, most pot distillation runs well above this. And, with a quality reflux / fractionating distillation column, 95% in a single pass is very common.

I would advise on getting the Essential Extractor in the regular size. If you talk to Rick, the high capacity is essentially for large production in great amounts. If you are looking at 6.5 or 15 gallon batches the regualr size will work great. Plus it mounts to a standard size 15 gallon or pony keg whichever you like. It will also yield up to 95% on a single run or you can take it apart and use the top half as a pot distilling column. Actually 2 devices in one! How can you beat that? Good luck just throwing in my 2 cents from experience!
