I think I know the answer, but in the interest of trying to save my position.. I'll tell you about a stupid mistake I have made..

About Oct-Nov 2013, I put up 10 gals of SF wash. When it was done, I strained it into two of Home Creepo 5Gal Orange buckets to settle for a few days.. For one reason or another (I still don't remember/understand/suss/analyze/wtfH! how I got confused), I only ran one of the two storage buckets of strained wash in my Nov runs.

Yesterday I was restructuring the grain storage closet (I restocked on 50lb sugar bags and was refilling barrels) and came across a neatly labelled orange 5 gal buck with the wash #, generation #, dates, and all the crap I write on a piece of scotch tape I attach to the lid of every ferment...*shit*

So.. Toss it or run it? It's the other half of my 5th Generation SF wash late fall 2013. Should have been run on early November, which is like almost 3 months now... I know we have talked about this before but opines varied on how long one can wait. I am tempted to just run it and see...

Hi RC, I would absolutely run it. Some people (maybe not here) have ferments waiting for a few month before running without problem. I would be very interested to hear the results. Keep us posted

Thanks boys.. I was a gonna...The buckets were quite sterile when I made the transfer, earlier that day I had washed them good in dawn antibac, rinsed really well, then before they were filled, a light spray with Star-san. Sealed good too, as I use a new lid with every other wash (overkill,I know, but they tend to split and tear after two uses..)

Unless someone tells otherwise, I'm gonna fire it this weekend, so we'll know pretty soon...
