"Hey all--
For the last however many months, I've been running cracked corn in a PSII. I generally run in pot mode with the reflux valve just a tad open. It's a 7 gallon still, and I generally run about 6 gallons in it. I generally get around 2-3 quarts of 145-160 proof, which myself and friends are pretty happy with, so I've kinda stuck to the same mash/same operation, all that good stuff. Question is, do you guys think that that's a suitable yield for 6-6 1/4 gallons of mash?"

"I think it's just right, you will get 3.4-4 quarts out the still during the run but not all that's the good stuff.
You didn't say if that proof is a combination of everything or that's the starting proof. No matter remember to make good cuts and even better collections like in small jars to seperate the good form the bad, if you dont know what that means then study up on cut's and collections and you'll see why I say that.
Happy hoochin.........."
