"How long does it take before a new user can make a post here. My buddy signed up earlier and he wanted to post his recipe but he cant because he said an admin had to ok his account. Funny. Maybe I made my account and went immediately to bed but I dont remember having wait very long at all before I was bumping elbows with all you guys.

Well alright he said he got the email but its pending approval by an admin....... HUH. Must be run day at all the Admin's houses.....

We generally send out a manual validation request to all those on moderated status every few days. Right now there are no accounts awaiting confirmation.
