Pretty pedestrian, but really functional - 55 Gal Can, 1/4 hp pond pump, backflow valve, allows for 2.5 gal ice containers on each side of the pump. Hot water returns extend halfway into the tank.... Feeds two units, and you've cutoff valves for each side, and 1/2" takeoff's for additional water needs on the end of each side. The holes in the Lid are 1 1/4" and 1" bore drilled (Simple after drilling the RSC box Wink ) Bungee compensates for pump torque... Hillbillae fix Wink

Whatdaya think?

Looks pretty good to me! How hot does your water get by the end of the run with the ice containers?

Thanks, RandyM

Um.. I try and keep that water in the 60's. I have like eight 2.5 gal distilled plastic water jugs (shaped like rectangles), so I switch them out at 90 minute intervals. The design allows you to undo that bungee, and lift that top up so you can switch out jugs. It just worked out that there is enough space for the 2.5gal jugs. I originally designed it to take 1 gal sweet tea jugs, of which I have dozens Wink But as I was testing it, I tried the big guys in it, and oh yea.. Eureka!

The best part of this was I got to play amateur plumber again w/o the chance of a toilet exploding on me.
