"Hi All, Been lurking here for quite some time now and decided its time I stopped here to get the introductions out of the way. My profile will show that I am a retired fabricator and am now teaching motorcycle safety and building custom knives. Yes I have the skills and equipment to fabricate just about any equipment I need but have decided to purchase my first still. I wanted to start with a simple proven design and learn how to properly drive it before venturing into uncharted waters. My distilling interests, for now, are mainly to be able to produce a viable fuel quality ethanol capable of powering an old motorcycle that I have stored in my barn. To that end I have applied for the proper Federal permits and hope to be in production soon. The still I now own is made by affordable Distilling. it is a 3"" copper re-flux over a 15 gal. SS boiler. I am currently working on the controller in order to power it using electric. Thank you Captainjack for the great plans....got all of my parts and just started cutting holes and mounting the components. In the future I hope to be a productive member of this forum.
BD"

Bad Dog, remember to make fuel you will need to reflux your likker really well or at least run it through a gooseneck still several times to remove ALL or at least as much water from the distillate as you can...anyway maybe you already know this but hope it helps ya.
