I have a 13 gal reflux i have the tower packed with copper mesh and raching rings......seems no matter what I do I can only achieve a 1/2 gal of usable product on every run.....any theories??? I have tried everything from a sugar mash to corn mash....1/2 gal is all I end up with.

I bet it's your wash...give the recipe and maybe that will help someone figure out what's going on. No matter how much wash you add to the boiler it still only contains so much etoh and of course that's the end result of quantity. A 12 gallon wash with 5 lbs of sugar is only gonna give some much finished product. Now if you add 10 lbs of sugar well you prolly see where this is going right? More sugar means more finished product if you run your still properly and make proper collections.
