"Hello everyone
I have wanted a still for a really long time and finally made the leap. Just bought the EE Pro Series II HC and hope to make some high quality spirits. I have made made home brew in the past and am excited to make my first mash. As a whisky drinker I was hoping the forum may provide a good whisky recipe for a novice, setting my still up for running my still as a pot still and oaking with chips. I know that is a lot but that is m wish list.

Welcome ! Lots of info here. A great whiskey recipe that is easy to start with would be UJSSM. As far as running your still in pot mode all you have to do is connect the incoming line to the bottom of the condenser and the out going at the top. Nothing to the column. Good luck and enjoy.
