The directions on the turbo yeast sachet say keep between 86-100 degrees for the allotted time. I have read here on numerous posts that a lot of you guys like to run your fermentation a much lower temp. Confused Like 77- 82 degrees. This is my first attempt and I'm using a simple sugar, water, yeast mash and wanted to know if I should stick with the higher temps suggested on the yeast package, or, tone down the heat a little and let it run longer. Thanks ahead of time for the insight.!!

The optimal temperature range is based on the specific yeast strain. You can certainly stay on the lower end of the recommended range to get a cleaner fermentation, but be careful about dropped out of the zone as fermentation may stall.
