Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has actually made moonshine by spouting corn? And how they go about it. What I read is that you use the kernels after they sprout and not the "sprouts" themselves? Do you boil them in water to get some sort of wart? I think I get how you get corn to sprout, what I don't understand what you do afterwards.
Anything you can tell me to enlighten me on the subject would be great, thanks!

after the corn sprouts you need to get the sprouts off the corn as they have a very bitter flavor. After taking the sprouts off you grind it and put in your mash. However malted corn has low diastatic power so you won't get much conversion. If you are doing an AG I would suggest using malted barley
